1 〔立ち上がること〕 rising to one's feet; standing up.

2 〔動作の開始〕 the start [beginning] 《of an action [operation]》; 〔事業などの開始〕 the start-up [launch(ing)] 《of a project》; 〔回復〕 recovery.

●新製品は好調な立ち上がりを見せている. The new product has gotten off to a good start.

・まずまずの立ち上がりと言っていいだろう. I suppose we can call it a fair [fairly good, rather good] start.
